Our Story

Arnold Family of Restaurants (AFR) was founded in 2017, with the acquisition of 12 Pizza Hut restaurants in east Texas, northwest Louisiana, and southern Arkansas. In 2018, AFR acquired an additional 13 Pizza Hut units in the Shreveport/Bossier City market. From 2020 - 2022, AFR opened 5 new Pizza Hut locations across NW Louisiana and E. Texas bringing our total to 30 Pizza Hut franchise restaurants. In early 2023, AFR opened 2 Pizza Hut Express locations in the Shreveport DMA.

In July of 2023, AFR completed the acquisition of 29 Pizza Hut restaurants across Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana. Our goal is to create new opportunities for our Leaders and Team Members through growth & expansion. We're also energized by the possibility of unlcoking the full potential of the brand in all markets where we operate.

AFR is headquartered in Tyler, TX and, today, operates 61 Pizza Hut locations and employs more than 1,000 full-time and part-time associates. We pride ourselves on “creating moments of excitement, lasting memories, and a differentiated pizza experience for our TEAMS, our GUESTS, and the COMMUNITIES in which we operate. Leadership Team

Jesse Arnold is the Owner & Operator for Arnold Family of Restaurants ("AFR"). Prior to establishing AFR, Jesse spent his career in the Pizza Hut corporate office working in Finance, Development and Operations. Prior to that, he spent 5 years leading National Operations and Marketing programs for large retail brands. Seeing employees at AFR become their best is why Jesse has worked so hard to establish a company that is family oriented and holds the utmost value in their employees.

Jesse is a graduate of Texas A&M University. When he's not spending his time supporting his restaurant teams, there's a good chance you can find Jesse enjoying time with his family or enjoying physical activities such as biking or running.
